Get yourself to Green Drinks and meet some fun green folks. Here's the announcement.

July sponsors, Guayaki and Zipcar, inspired the theme: “You are what you drink, you are what you drive.” Guayaki’s holistic approach to beverages and Zipcar’s efforts to reduce your carbon footprint are the perfect mid-summer reminder to do your part! Nurture your body and nurture the earth!

Drop by the SFGD table and add your community event, business, or volunteer opportunity to the to the E Cork Board. We’ll start the trend giving you the low-down on cool people and real-time updates. You can join the mix when you like!

Our Green Drink of the Month will be UpLiftMint, the Guayaki Pure Empower Mint Yerba Mate beverage with Veev Acai Spirit and Ginger Agave Syrup. This month, your drink tickets from will only buy you the Green Drink of the Month. Drinks will be given throughout the night, just check the E Cork Board for more details!

Zipcar is offering a special $25 promo for people signing up at the event and they will even have a zip car at event!

Bare Naked will be providing granola parfait samples!

Bring: Please bring your business cards!
Safety: Please be safe when coming to/from SFGD. If you would like someone to walk you to your bus/train stop or car, please let a greeter know. As always, please designate a driver if driving.

Resource Efficient Building Task Force Meeting

- The Resource Efficient Building Task Force advises the Department of Environment on matters of policy and reviews projects in design to ensure that Chapter 7 of the Environment Code (LEED Silver certification) is being achieved for municipal projects. The Task Force enables communication about green building issues throughout the City and acts as an educational forum to increase knowledge and share project related successes and lessons learned.
